India Stachyra ("Sta-KEE-ra") is an interdisciplinary theatre artist and administrator based in NYC. Her academic and theatre education includes Sarah Lawrence College (BA - Theatre, French, Psychology, Literature), British American Drama Academy (London Theatre Program, Year-Long Advanced) and HB Studio. Her plays and directorial work have been seen at Theater for the New City, Label Theatre Company, HERE Arts Center, The Sheen Center, Balance Arts Center and The Players Theatre.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, India employs her creative and organizational talents as Development Associate at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, Marketing Coordinator at Underground Skills Exchange, and Marketing Assistant at Bated Breath Theatre Company. Previous roles include Social Media Coordinator at City College of New York, Marketing Manager of Unbossed & Unbowed, Marketing Coordinator at CO/LAB Theater Group and the off-Broadway run of Mas Que Un Pétalo, Executive Assistant at Theatre Communications Group (TCG), Artistic Programming Apprentice at The New Victory Theater/New 42, and Administrative Intern at Tectonic Theater Project.
